Hang Accessories was founded by a fashionable San Diegan in May 2005. Living in Madrid, Spain, she was inspired by the European café and tapas bar culture. She noticed that fashionably-dressed women carrying designer bags had no way to keep their bags close by and free from grime.
Her mission was to solve the minor annoyances women face every time they go out for dinner or a drink… tastefully, artistically and affordably. She decided to revive and refashion a great concept that originated back as late as the late 1800s… the purse hanger. She successfully brought this age-old idea forward by creating designs as pretty and unique as the bags that hang from them.. .. and Hang Accessories was born.
